Previous Next 17. Cut a small strip of 3oz fiberglass, lightly spray it with 3M77, wrap it around the tail boom, over the stab pylon and onto the stab. Apply thin CA. 18. Glue the servos to the bottom of the fuselage using 5min epoxy and micro-balloons mixture. 19. Insert control rods into the guide tubes. Insert the small hinged rod ends into the holes in the rudder and elevator. Apply CA and create a fillet of glue around the rod to reinforce the joint. 20. Make a z-bend wire for the servo end, insert it into a small piece of nyrod, then insert it into the servo horn. Mark the required length of the control rod, so that there is little or no gap between the carbon rod and the copper wire when the controls and the servos are in neutral. Cut off the carbon rod at the mark. Previous Next
