13. Drill a hole through the hard point in the wing's center joint
using a 1/8" drill bit. Put the wing into the saddle, check alignment.
Drill the hole through the fuselage deck. Tap the thread in the
fuselage deck for the 8-32 nylon bolt. Apply thin CA to the hole and
re-tap the thread.

14. Enlarge the hole in the wing using a 5/32" drill bit. Counter sink
the hole using a 3/8" drill bit so that the bolt is flush with the
wing surface when inserted.
|
15. Glue the stab pylon to the stabilator using thin CA.
|
16. Put the plane with the wing attached up side down on a
narrow table so that the wing tips are hanging off the table.
Check the alignment of the vertical tail. If it is not
perpendicular to the horizon, use a head gun to heat the joint
between the tail and the carbon boom and correct the angle. Hold
the tail a little past the correct angle while it cools down.
Put the stabilator under the tail boom in the correct
location. Apply a few drops of CA to the pylon and put the
tail boom down into the groove.
