If you used a slow epoxy (15-20min) you can wipe off the extra mixture now to clean the surface. You can also leave the excess epoxy on the joint and then break it off after the epoxy hardens using a big knife. 7. Tape the second polyhedral joint. Before you glue it, make sure that the tip angles are close on both sides. If there is a big difference in the angles, untape the second joint and use a big flat sanding block to adjust the angle. Be very careful, only 2-3 swipes with a sanding block are needed to make a noticable correction. 8. Glue the center joint after you glued the tip joints. Apply enough epoxy and micro-balloons mixture to fill the cavity for the attachment bolt. Previous Next
